Kanipakam Ganesh Temple
Kanipakam Ganesh Temple is very old temple. Have You know about this temple ?. This temple is located at Kanipakam village in chitoor district of Andhra Pradesh. Temple of Ganesha which has its own characteristics. This temple have history. Temple was founded by the chola king kulothuga chola I in early 11th century. Whereas in 1336 the development work of this temple carried forward by an emperors of Vijayanagara dynestry.
Temple is unique from the rest of lord Ganesha's temples.
The temple is quite different with middle river. Every wish of comer can be fulfilled with Lord Ganesha. Many visitor say that definitely get wish in life.

Two brothers Sankha & Likhita visit one day to Kanipakam. The Journey was so long so they tried. On way mango tree saw by Likhita. He took off to break mango. His brother sankha forbade him to do but he did not listen to one. Angrily sankha complain to Likita in Panchayat where both hands were amputated as punishment.
It is said that Likita later put hands in same river near kanipakam, after which hand near reunited. So river called as Bahuda.
It is the importance of this river that the kanipakkam temple is also known as name river Bahuda.
